What is Escape Hatch?

Escape Hatch is a virtual escape room game you play online with friends. Your friends are locked inside a room you built or a community room and need to get out. Someone plays as the operator, watching them on security cameras, flipping switches and giving out clues.

How many people do you need to play?

Two is enough, but you can solo play rooms or invite more friends too. A session holds up to ten players inside and four operators, so it works for a couple of friends or a whole group.

Do you need VR to play?

No. Escape Hatch runs on a normal Windows PC or Mac with mouse and keyboard. There is no headset required.

Can you make your own escape rooms?

Yes, that's the main idea. Get creative and use our editor to build any type of room you want. Place props, wire up locks, keypads, wire panels, etc, then play test the room.

How much does it cost?

$4.99 as a one-time purchase, with no subscription. That covers both the Windows and macOS builds.
